Default Laguna Seca record

Randy Pobst just did a 1:28xx in the new ACR. When are we going to see GM come back and re-run the Z06?

Don't want to be a downer, but that is a pretty tall order to beat.

Thank god American muscle has the record there back!

I was even more surprised to see the announcement that Bondurant is getting rid of the Corvettes and switching to Vipers for his school....I was not expecting that.

That thing has MONSTER downforce. Pretty awesome machine.

It's interesting it is "only" a second faster at VIR. Mero must have been doing some damn good driving.

Those times are fullup racecar territory... of course, that's what the ACR basically is

Holy Christ. To put it in perspective, Chip Romer set the lap record at Laguna Seca this year in PCA racings go fast class, GTA2. Chip set the record driving a $450,000++ 2012 911 GT3R full on race car with slicks. He and the car are VERY fast. He did a 1:27.896. Unbelievable. Amazing.

That is astonishing! I wonder what Ralph has to say about Randy's driving now? :-)

I'm also glad to see this record in the hands of an American car. It actually doesn't sound so bad either! (I owned a Gen I Viper and besides trying to kill me once in the uphill esses at VIR after just touching the FIA curbing, the only thing I really hated was the engine "note".)

That's a hell of a car. Looks like he had a sparco for a driver's seat in the laguna video. That car is ready for track right out of the box.

Fast! Maybe it'll generate this bucket some sales so they don't euthanize it in 17 LOL

I believe it. I had my ACR at Laguna last Sunday and passed this full race gt3 every session I was out. This is a car that showed up in a double stack big rig. I ran 1.33 my 1st day in the car.

Outstanding times. Let the European and Japanese fans wrap their heads around this. And don't start with the " No ring time" BS either.

Go USA
