Default Cruze diesel

couple days ago bought a 2017 Cruze diesel with 6 speed. It was humorous, the girl that did the post buying check out with me said "aren't you excited about your new car".. ummm, No, it's an econobox, the only reason I bought it was for fuel economy. If it was a new Z06, then yes I'd be excited.

I've heard good things about these cars. You'll have to let us know what you think.

The combined 37 mpg (30/52/37 mpg - city/highway/combined) for the diesel version seems pretty good for this car; I saw they they were estimating 52 mpg for the highway alone when equipped with the six-speed manual transmission. GM is estimating that the Cruze Diesel has a range of up to 702 miles on one tank.

I actually expected the diesel with the nine-speed automatic to do a little better, but it's rated at 31/47/37 mpg.

I'll be curious to see what you think of this car after owning it for a bit.

Hahaha when I bought my Cruze the dealer made the same big deal about it, took my picture with the car and mailed me my picture on a calendar.
