FOR SALE or TRADE: 2004 GTO 6-Speed, 8,300miles!!!

In Florida "rebuilt" or "salvage" title means at some point an insurance company has deemed the vehicle a total loss. I'd almost be willing to bet the chassis VIN and body VIN on this car do not match.

As everyone can see, this "perfect" GTO was a total loss, and received a salvage title. The OP claims it wasn't a flood car, but coincidently a hurricane went directly over Marco Island, Florida on September 8th. The car was reported as a total loss on September 10th. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out the car was probably floating in someone's garage. The OP claims the car has a "rebuilt", (not salvage title), which now it does, however, you can clearly see it was issued a salvage title (total loss). I'm betting the car was purchased through a Co-Part salvage auction, which specializes in wrecked, totaled, flood, and stolen/recovered vehicles. The OP claims the car was inspected by (I think) 3 high end shops, and nothing was found wrong. Look at the Carfax, and you'll only see 1 inspection of the car (in Pennsylvania). If the "high end" shops in Florida would've inspected the car, it would be so noted in Carfax, which it isn't. If you Google MJ Automotive in Pennsylvania, you'll see that the "high end" shop is basically an oil change, tire replacement place. Hardly "high end". The OP mocks me by saying I'm missing out on "0" mile trucks at great deals. Again, it isn't a hard thing to connect the dots (timing) with the hurricane that went through Marco Island. I'm betting those trucks were on new car dealer's lots, and were also written off as total losses. If the OP isn't guilty of deception, lying, etc, there isn't such as a thing. Sad.

Safety Car
2+2=4....... Looks like this car was right in Irma's path which makes it very likely to be a flood damaged car.

I've been in the automobile business all of my adult life, and I wouldn't touch any vehicle with this kind of history, period. I don't want/need the money bad enough to operate like the OP does. What goes around, comes around, as they say. The OP will get his in the end...JMHO

The new happy owner just got f'd over. But a fool and his money are quickly parted. I'm sure the seller made it clear in paperwork this was an "as-is" sale with no further liability.
It was all there plain to see, a rebuilt title. If you take that leap might as well buy the car for next to nothing as opposed to top dollar.
