Lisa, I was in retail automotive management for quite a few years, and dealt with the general public, and I can indeed confirm that there were real live people like this in both genders! Speaking to these people about their cars, was the automotive equivalent of Jay Leno's "Jay walking" segments on the Tonight Show! No clue, never read the manual, and would look at you like you were speaking a foreign language. So I don't find this vaguely insulting, it's a fact of life, and even if the video was fake, it's still entertaining.

The real funny part is yet to come when she finds out that rather than spending five minutes at a gas station, she has to spend over an hour at a charging station, and the "tank" still won't be full.
