You guys make me wish I lived in Oregon!

Why in the hell none of our clubs don't have a few more sophisticated event such as this is beyond me. The closest thing I've seen is the Tacoma clubs (Leveonworth(sp?))...the Seattle Marque club is pathetic in this respect....IMHO.

I'm looking for a club to join....trouble is they're mostly in Oregon!

Am I alone in this sentiment?

Meet at my house at 7:45. We'll have coffee, juice and a variety of pastries. Leave around 8:15 and head out I 205 to the next rendevous.

My house: 20035 SW 59th Terrace, Tualatin.

Take the Tualatin-Sherwood exit and turn east past the Shell station continuing through the light at the 7-11 and then right up the hill next to Meridian Park hospital. Turn left at the light on Borland Road and continue about 600 ft, turning right on 60th, the entrance to Sequoia Woods.

Make the first left, and then the first right on 59th Terrace. We are on the right, second house from the end of the street.

Please let me know how many are coming here so we have enough refreshments.

Well the city in it's infinite wisdom as decided to tear up part of the street I live on. Not to worry though there is another way in to avoid the construction.

Okay, I think we're getting close. Here's what I have for the BBQ and what we will still need:

Have:

Brats (two kinds)
Sirloin Burgers
Cheese
Lettuce
Two cases of beer (Fat Tire and Alaskan Amber)
Chips
Paper plates
Plastic cups

Need:

Hot dog buns
Hamburger buns
Soft drinks
Whatever esle you'd like to eat or drink
Deck chairs

I have a very large deck, 950 sf, but a very small kitchen so keep that in mind.

If you want to bring one of the needed items or something else please post here so we don't end up with 800 hot dog buns. We will also make a stop at Albertson's near my home to pick up any loose ends.

Looking forward to a great day with all of you. What a country!

My wife and I would like to "tag along" for the trip and meet fellow Corvettte owners in the area. We would also attend the BBQ if that is okay. We are looking forward to meeting others and this would be our first "official" Vette function to attend. Please let me know if dropping in this late is okay. Sorry for replying so late but I rarely look at regional forum.
