I guess I was thinking about real power, not Dyno SAE power. A motor tuned for cold air weather will make more (REAL) HP than a motor tuned for hot air weather.
Actually, for some people, (like me) that is on the edge of KR, cold weather will cause the motor to tun leaner at WOT in open loop mode (without a retune) and couldn produce KR, which will pull timing and lose power. SAE won't offset for this. My simple fix, turn the Meth injection up a notch.
Or tune the PE fuel in cold ambient temps to make sure that you are OK when its cold. When its hotter out it will just be a little richer, you can also offset the timing issues using the IAT offset tables, provided that the sensor is still sensing ambient incoming temperature rather than actual intake manifold temps. However in case of the Maggie kits if I remember right they move the IAT sensor to the intake manifold where it senses actual air charge temps after the blower, in this case it won't work.

Or if you have your own tuner software like me, you could have 2 different tunes.
My Maggie came from Lingenfelter, and they block the IAT hole in the manifold and use it in the air bridge.
Tom, I think after I get new motor built, then I am going to get you to help me with a speed density tune. But I want you to do a MAF tune before we do that, so I can use it for DEQ testing that I will have to go thru next Oct..
