Wish it was "That is all...." for the snow, but I think there is more coming for Oly tonight. Got 4" so far and the local roads are @%*!$). Apparently the South Sound area got the big chunk of the storm.

Been listening to my scanner all day and there are spinouts everywhere, the police are all because of the accidents and it's going to get cold again tonite.

And I have to drive tomorrow....

Usually we get dumped on here in Issaquah, but so far it's been pretty tame. Maybe 2 inches total for the season. It's just a matter of time though....

What a week...

Monday and Tuesday we had a 2 hour delay start time; yesterday and today the district shut down and looks like tomorrow is a no-go as well. Nicely adds an extra 3 days to our Christmas Vacation.

Wifey and I went out for a walk and had a good time sliding up and down the streets on a nice layer of sheet ice. Got to watch several cars slip-sliding around too. Looks like Saturday night and Sunday are gonna be worse.

There is a possibility of another 6-12" of snow in the South Sound starting this evening and into Sunday morning. That will go on top of the 8" already down at my place. And the low at the Olympia Airport this morning was 8 degrees

Then there is freezing rain coming after that.

I have lots of batteries, a full tank of propane for the barbeque, the fireplace is natural gas, and two tubs of hot buttered rum mix in the fridge and a fifth of rum. Bring it on.
