c5 exhaust
Anybody have an opinion of the GHL Bullets on the C5? Too loud? Freeway drone? I guess I'm old enough now that I dont want an obnoxious exhaust. Now there was a day!
Anyway, I'm looking for opinions. The GHL's seem to be pretty reasonable pricewise when on sale.
Tom Wong..., any opinion? What's best given my parameters?

I have LG Pro long tubes to an off road x-pipe (no cats) to the GHL bullets.
I absolutely love the sound of the whole setup, but you will be more neighborhood friendly with keeping your cats on. There is a guy in the F/S section selling the GHL bullets with a small dent on the top of the canisters for a reduced price!

I just installed a NXT Step system and really like it. As soon as I get my camera back I'll post a clip of how they sound. I do miss the low rumble of the Flowmasters but the sound of accelerating is much more fun. And they don't drone....you can run pretty quiet with them most of the time.
And the tips are very nice looking.
edit: The only reason I got rid of the Flowmasters was because the baffles were flopping around in BOTH of the mufflers!!!

I've got http://www.bbexhaust.com/car/corvette/c5/ and I love them. They have a resonator designed to cancel out certain frequency's so it's Loud at WOT but not to loud at idle.
I'm in Portland if you want to hear, though my car's got some other mods that changes the sound a bit.
