We left Port Townsend Friday AM @ 4:30 and arrived in Jacksonville, OR at 12:30 PM. It's the first long run since winter mods, LG LT's & X pipe, Vararam intake, 25% under dampner and exhaust by-pass on stock exhaust. We averaged 61.2 MPH and 32.3 MPG,even with some spirited driving in the Grants Pass area. The car performed and ran great even with out an ECM re-tune (next on the list)
Going to attend a family function today and head out Sunday AM for the coast and maybe take two days to get back home.
NOTHING beats an FRC for performance and fuel economy. Those cars are GOLDEN!
You've got a keeper
Thanks, we've had the car for about 18 months and have more and more fun with every mile.
Got talked into going to Eugene before heading across 126 to 101. Had a nice ride following a Cafe' Harley going, let's say 2X the suggested curve speeds in some cases, till the co-pilot put the brakes on.
That's okay, it was nice to kick back in cruise and see the great sites in the area...
Made it to Lincoln City got a room at the Chinook Winds, had bite to eat, a couple toddies and now just enjoying the view of the surf.
