I would get a hold of Kevin at Rogers auto body in Vancouver Wa. Tom Wong can vouch on it.
I would recommend a Vinyl Wrap instead of painting. That way you could simply remove the wrap if you wanted to return the 'vette back to original.
I'm sure John or Ben @ Metropolitan Detail could help you.
They did a complete wrap of a Ferrari (in Matte Black) while I was up there a few months ago.

Blowsion does some really outstanding custom work. John
Dady is a great guy and located in Sherwood, Or. I'm seriously considering
a repaint of my C-6 to repair a lot of mistakes. I had Blowsion do a custom paint
job on my motorcycle helmet and it turned out fantastic.

sound good thanks for the refrences!! the one in Bellvue is a bit far though as im sure i would have to leave the car, and find way to and back.
i thought about vinyl wrap also! but wondered if they can actualy get all the little edges and things around the various rubber parts so it looks like paint. hmm ill have to get ahold of them probably cost as much or more than painting.. still undecided satin finish black against gloss what with chrome wheels.. hmmm
