Gates laser alignment tool

Does anyone have one that I can borrow,I'm having a heck of a time aligning my serpentine belt.

Hate to tell you this now, but the Gates tool sux, the Dayco tool is the one to get. It projects a line versus a dot and is much more accurate.

Great,oh well hopefully I can make it work,I had the balancer installed and he lined up the power steering,but the tensioner is off now,I bought one of those heavy duty 8 rib tensioner a for ECS,so I think all I need to do now is get that aligned,ill know tomorrow if I can get it done.

Tom,

I got that tool today,I see what you mean about it only being a dot,but I think it worked pretty good, I have new 8 rib belt showing up tomorrow and will install it to see how it all works,im pretty sure I have everything aligned now. I see how the other one would be better but I think the gates one will have worked for me.
