Ugh, I hate Walmart. I won't give them my business.

No, I don't know where Summit Lake is, but I assume it's by a lake.

hey I have an '02 Z also (silver) with about 83,000 my daily driver. Hubby has 07 . He just bought a floor jack at Harbor Freight (I assume you have those up there?) really cheap, I think the sale is about $59. His C6 is "really" lowered and it fits under it fine. I think it is the 1.5 ton racing jack.(reg price $119.99)

HF is in Lacey. The 1.5 ton aluminum jack is a good deal, but at least one pair of jack stands will be needed and better yet two pair so the car can be lifted off the ground.

But the OP says the car is parked outside so doing his own oil changes this time of year will not be a fun job. He would also need a drain pan for the old oil and save up some containers to take the old oil to a shop. AutoZone, O'REilleys, and NAPA will take used oil. These stores are located in West Olympia.

Summit Lake is pretty easy to find: Head east on SR8 towards Aberdeen. Go past Wilson Road (little convenience store/gas station) and take the Summit Lake Road exit. Should be about 4-5 miles past the Black Lake Blvd exit. Crab1 will probably give you specific driving directions.

The Ranch House is down the road off of Highway 8.

I just went to Auto Zone and picked up a nice K&N performance, wrench off filter for $15.

The only problem is that I just found out I am starting a new job on Thursday.

I start at 9:00 AM and am not sure when they will let me go home.

I really hate driving it in the rain. Letting it sit in the rain is bad enough.

I'm heading to Costco tonight, but I need to use my Uncle's membership card.

If the weather is any better tomorrow, I don't mind doing it before 2:00 PM. Otherwise, we can always stick to Thursday afternoon, if that's convenient with you.

Hey, would you be open to helping me painting my side markers, as well? I have some black paint that I bought from Auto Zone.

Bought a box of 6, 5w30 Mobil 1 at Costco for $27.

Went to Auto Zone and bought the most expensive filter they had, which was a K&N.

I wish performance products cost as much as oil filters...

For what it's worth there is a lot of info about Fram filter quality being poor. The consensus is Napa Gold, Wix, and one other I can't remember are the way to go these days.
