I do have that one, but it's my last one and I plan to hold on to it. I've pretty much sold the ones I want to for now. Thank you for asking. That's a nice model. Those out-of-production Carousel One Corvettes do show up sometimes on E-bay but they're becoming increasingly rare and pricey. My personal favorite is the Maglioli car #3.
You boys can keep your carbon side skirts. I want some C7 side pipes.
Hmmmm, wondering how that might look? What are the current C7R team cars running (he asks, being too lazy to go look it up for himself)?
So, when you say side pipes, are you referring to the full length "Lakes plug" pipes or just a "collector box" in each wheel well?
Now this ought to bring out the men from the boys with that question. Oh, I meant to say the seniors from the juniors.... no that's not quite right either.
Do you know how close you came to being considered one of those black wheel Wanna' be hoodlums and video game enthusiasts? (and of course I mean that with all due respect)
Ys, you are correct, it was a muffler - a loud one to be sure. Or so I'm told. I found it easier to loosen the front muffler bolts and then pull the choke out all the way as I idled through Lou's 19 cent burger joint. Big cam setup, right.
Not quite as cool as removing that "plug" from your Carter AFB 4-barrel as so to make it sound as though you had Fuel Injection.
It wasn't easy to be a serious wanna be back in the day - or during the Jurassic as it might seem to some of you on this forum. Paper routes rarely paid enough to even put gas in your car back then.
