One of our regular participants in the annual BBQ lives in Everett and he always seems to make it. From AZ though, well that's a different matter, but you could probably drive as fast as you want until you reach Auburn.
If we knew you might make it, we would have gone to extraordinary lengths to roll out Poodle Girl strapped to his custom-made Hannibal Lecter dolly. It's always worth the trip and is the next best thing to Aaron's slot-car track that only works if the cars are wired to run in reverse.

Actually there are at least 4 of us that make the trip down from the Everett area on a regular basis. Never seem to run into traffic up & down 405 or 167 when we're on our way to or from one of AaronZ51's famous BBQ's.
Saturday it took an hour to get there from Mill Creek and just a bit over an hour to get back.

Oh, so it's an afternoon gathering? Makes it even more appealing and avoids having to make a decision on which of several car events to attend.
And, it's close to Fred's Riverside in Snohomish which should make it an easy trip for certain members of this forum to attend. They know who they are....
