Default Clearview!

I visited Clearview cruisin Saturday!

I was pleasantly surprised to see about 7 vettes show up!
While the over all turnout was low, vettes made a nice showing!

If memory serves,
1 C7 was for sale
1 C6 with a nasty sounding LS2
2 C3's including me
3 C2's

Sadly I missed the photo op with a pair of C2's next to a pair of C3's, all red white and blue! It was a very nice gathering and I met some more corvette owners!

Only shot I took!
I wanted the other C2 in the shot because it was blue but sadly he left before I had a chance.
The rest of the vettes were scattered amongst other cars.

I always forget about this event. I'll post it up in Cars and Coffee and try and strike up some attendance. It's a nice little spot out there.

This event is in Clearview on Highway 9 just South of Snohomish.
It is every Saturday weather permitting.

Cars tend to start arriving at 4:30 ish and stay until 6:00 ish.

Oh, so it's an afternoon gathering? Makes it even more appealing and avoids having to make a decision on which of several car events to attend.

And, it's close to Fred's Riverside in Snohomish which should make it an easy trip for certain members of this forum to attend. They know who they are....

I think I know this deal. Albertsons / McDonalds parking lot right?

This is a very diverse group. Rat rods and muscle cars mostly I believe. Not a lot of MSFT types.

My kind of deal. And close too. I'll have to check it out closer. I'll probably start taking my 68 Camaro rat muscle car out there as it becomes mobile.

LOL, I think the event is in progress when the google map shot was taken. The lot is usually about vacant.

Yes, that is the place!
Address is :
17422 State Route 9 SE, Snohomish, WA 98296

Would be fun one day to have more vettes than mustangs there!

Yes, Saturday evenings! There is a great Teriyaki shop there too.
I generally come down, hang for a while, then grab dinner for my bride and I and head home!

Those pics are great! Definitely looks like a cruise-in in progress!

But one of the best things about these gatherings is when there are a variety of cars (and bikes) that show up.

A Kent BBQ is a long trek from Everett and to sit in the que for a couple hours on the 405 on a Saturday would truly suck :-(

One of our regular participants in the annual BBQ lives in Everett and he always seems to make it. From AZ though, well that's a different matter, but you could probably drive as fast as you want until you reach Auburn.

If we knew you might make it, we would have gone to extraordinary lengths to roll out Poodle Girl strapped to his custom-made Hannibal Lecter dolly. It's always worth the trip and is the next best thing to Aaron's slot-car track that only works if the cars are wired to run in reverse.
