Default Pre-Purchase Inspection in Auburn, WA - Where should I take it?

I'm looking at an LS2 C6 in Auburn and I'd like to have a PPI performed.

Which shops can be trusted up there, and which should I avoid?

Good to hear. I was worried after reading some of their reviews.

I trust them and have had them do work for me in the past. No issues.

Dan and Curt of Corvettes of Auburn have worked on my 3 Vettes for the last 14 years or so. Good folks, good work, never disappointed.

Corvettes of Auburn just finished a 402 SC stroker build for my C6, and I'm very pleased with the job.

As long as all they're doing is looking the car over and not scheduling any work or performing any repairs, you're probably safe at COA.

My experiences with maintenance, repairs and diagnosis were more miss than hit so I wrote them off years ago. I felt like Dan was generally a good guy who simply didn't have enough time to babysit all his employees which resulted in terrible work and awful customer service.

Hopefully they've turned things around at this point, good luck!

^^^Not sure how long ago you had work done there, but that's definitely not been my experience using them the last five years.

The only complaint I've heard from a recent customer is that COA sometimes gets booked up. But, if an emergency crops up, they always seem to make time.

Joe Link - it was ironic that I was talking to Dan when you called to schedule your appointment for tomorrow morning. COA even looked over lower priced autos when my son was buying a car (an older VW and a Honda, after they listed all the things wrong with the VW and said do not buy it).

Good luck with the inspection and purchase if it all works out!

I started going to them in 2006 and things steadily deteriorated until I stopped going there in 2012.

Like I said, Dan seems like a good guy who just didn't have the capacity to keep an eye on all the working going through his shop - hopefully he got some active management in place and turned things around.
