Hey all,
I will be caretaker of my dads C5 convertible for what may be many months.
Unfortunately ( or nicely ) our garage is already full of Corvettes so the C5 must stay outside.

The car is fairly rough cosmetically on the outside. Very nice interior and only 21k miles. She came from Florida. She looks to have spent most of her life outside.

i want to wash her completely, either rub,polish, or glaze the paint depending on her needs.
Then put a car cover on her. She will get driven periodically but I’d like to return her nicer than she came. She is a very nice but clearly neglected car.

so,
car cover for 100% outside. I have and really like my Wolf car cover and have had to use it outside on my baby.

Question to the PNW brain trust: for the price, is there a better way to go?
better cover?
