Hey, Its plastic, of course you can fix it. Just be sure and put some backup on the backside and taper the edges where your going to fill it in. Your time would be worth something if you were doing anything more constructive than sitting on your butt. Since your not, this is a good way to do it. Keep posting and don't be afraid to ask questions

Heres the template for the parts to cut out of 3/4" gell coated fiberglass Trays, I got at work for free.
It will look like the headlights will pop up. The headlights will be in the grill.

if you do the fill in for the lights...you might be better off using a backer board underneath the hole and layerer matte/resin in while you slope sand the edges of the current fiberglass outline......... i wouldnt try to mix differnet parts with the front end....i.e. trays..... it might react with the temperature differently

Hey Wacked keep up the good work but buy some cloth and some roving woving(looks like crossed stiched angle hair) use this stuff under neath the work your doing to add strength I made sail boats and it is strong ,should be able to get the stuff at any good paint and body supply goes on the same try to roll the roving woving Sand between each coating and clean the dust off before applying more matt cloth or just resin with kicker m.e.k. (Rocket Fuel)Methel ethel ketone.
