now what?
After a long search i found someone i was comfortable with in ability and price($6,600) to paint my 68. He had the car for three weeks and when i brought it home from the shop it was beautiful. He used spi grey epoxy, ppg base, and spi universal clear. Body work was done on the nose, rear deck(luggage rack holes), and right quarter seam( about 1 inch crack), but he grooved it and filled the whole seam. he used duraglass for filler and no other primer was used other than the epoxy. After the car sat in the sun OH ****!!!!! Everywhere he used filler has lifted. He came and looked at the car and said the whole car needs repainted which he said he would do. My question is what happened and what can i do to prevent it from happening again?, and what is the proper way to repaint, does all of it need to come back off?

I talked to porchdog by phone and he thinks the problem was too much primer applied too fast with not enough cure time. It's not lifting that i have it's more like shrinkage from the primer curing out. After it sets in the sun for about a week will try to wet sand the area's and rebuff. Hopefully that will take care of it.
