Undercoating removal

Looking to have my C4 removed of the undercoating. The undercoating looks more like a layer of black paint. It is even on my control arms. It flakes off when I use a plastic razor. I'm in Upstate NY (BGM) and looking for anyone who does this process via steam high pressure or their own way. Please let me know. Thanks

You might try a can of Stoners Tarminator. I've had good luck with it on road tar, etc. Don't know the material you are trying to remove but if it's petroleum based, i'll bet Stoners will liquify it. FWIW, it works great on getting the road tar off of wheel wells and requires no harsh scrubbing, paper towels is all you need to remove the residue - takes multiple applications if the buildup is thick but it will turn it to soup so the bpaper and rinse water can get it off. Good luck.
