paint chip
While putting on my bumper i chipped a little of the paint on my rear quarter panel about the size of a tic tac. What is the best way to repair this? I have a nice airbrush and plenty of paint and clear left. Is there a better way to do this. Also, the panel that was chipped was painted about 3 1/2 weeks ago. Should i let it dry more before trying to paint the chip with the air brush or a manual brush if needed? I havent color sanded the car yet. I was waiting untill this weekend to start the color sanding.

Did you use any of the fancy pearls or candy's? I would use a pinstripe brush and fill the chip with base color. At the end you want the chip filled to the same height as the surrounding paint, so once the color is okay, fill the rest of the chip with clear. Then you can wet sand and polish the whole panel at the same time. Timewise you are fine.
