Default Paint Source?

Where can I buy factory color paint on line for a fair price? (they ship it UPS truck... no planes)

I am getting jerked around (treated like s**t) by local supply stores because I'm not one of their big customers.

I did a dozen searches on google but the results don't kick back even the well known suppliers that I already know about. I found only a handful of suppliers, and I can't believe that is all there is. I can't seem to punch in the right combination of key words.

I don't want "Kustom Kolors" and such... I want to match factory paint codes.

Any suggestions?

Where do ya'll get your paint?

Yes... I have been emailing them (TCP) about the color I need... they have been helpful. I may end up ordering there.

Barry at SPI recommends Pro-line. Chad is the Pro-line rep. Barry says it's the best paint for the money. Email below.

I was quoted $689/gallon for DBC in red at FinishMasters. DBU was like $20 less. Not the cheapest.

I chatted with an Ebay seller about DBC in red and he was gonna charge $289/gallon. I believe he owns a body shop in NY. Here is an auction he had, if you know how to use Ebay you can ask him a question. Then have him to setup an auction for BUY IT NOW so you have some protection. A bit riskier... as you never really know for sure what's in the can.

TCP Global is the one I hear most use for PPG online sales, but they wanted $300 gallon for red in their Restoration line paint. So I figured the PPG wasn't cheap.

I ended up getting a gallon of Chromabase in Torch red on Ebay for $150 shipped. Supposedly paint was mixed to paint a semi and wasn't needed. Same paint at FinishMasters is $480/gallon. My advantage was I didn't need a specific code.

Let us know who you choose and some prices.
