What paint brand does GM use on the C6? I intend to have the front fascia repainted and want to duplicate the quality and color of the paint. Any and all suggests will be most welcomed, tia.
Addendum: What is the general cost for such paintwork; fascia?

The manufaturer of the paint that GM uses is quite irrevelant. The color will more than likely have to be tinted or use a "variant" that looks close to your bumper now...which is often times available on a "color deck" that paint stores have on hand that are a color sample of the "variant". This is due to GM has problems with their color batches and that causes for variants. Some colors may be "bluer", cleaner, lighter on the angle and so on. So just because you get the color from the same manufacturer that GM uses does not quarantee that the color will be correct. Also...who ever is going to be painting your bumper should hopefully be aware of the adjustments that he/she can do at the gun and during the mixing/application process that can change the color. So the same color that is mixed up and in the gun can be painted to where the colors can be lighter or darker from each other. I would HIGHLY advise a test panel be shot to check and see how close your color is BEFORE you send it out for tinting. And when the color matches the test panel...the painter would need to duplicate that process on your bumper...and NOT change a thing when doing so.
I can not give you a cost due to not truely knowing what is wrong with your cover now. Urethane covers are a royal pain in the backside...depending on the extent of the damage.

Many thanks for the reply... also, nothing wrong with the fascia (cover) insomuch as I want to have it resurfaced whereby removing numerous stone chips accumulated from highway travel, just looking for a reference cost.
