Fish Eye
I painted the vette and have started wet sanding. I have 6 fish eye craters prominately located on the hood and I am afraid to sand them anymore for fear of breaking through the clear coat. Is it possible to mix a small amount of clear coat and carefully put a drop on each one and let them fill in, and then wet sand them? Really trying to avoid resprying the entire hood.

It is do-able ...but you need to get on it fast...and try in what ever manner you can to try to get the fish-eye crater DULL deep down in the crater. Because if it is still shiny...the chances that the clear will adhere is not as good...than if it were dulled out.
Make sure it it clean...DUH...before you apply your clear.
