Car covers

PLEASE...let me explain my view on this. I restore Corvettes...so when they leave my shop they are "fresh" and NOT cured out. I DO NOT want ANYTHING to inhibit the air flow and/or circulation or air around the car while it is stored...and curing out. ESPECIALLY if it is in a garage that has POOR air movement and gets HOT as heck....and gets damp/or moist.
The one issue I have with a car cover on a Corvette is that....it restricts air movement and can cause for problems during this "curing process"....IN MY OPINION.
Keeping dust off of it is one thing...but POSSIBLY damaging a fresh paint job is another. SO...for whatever it is worth to you...I would possibly look into another form of protection for your Corvette. Some are quite expensive...but that is for you to decide. I know of a few of my customers who have purchased those "plastic bubble" containment garages...and store their Corvettes in them with a constant air flow being filtered through it. But, as they have told me...due to the cost of what they just spent on a paint job/restoration...it is a small price to make sure that it is protected the best way they could do at the time.
If your car is a factory job...and NOT recently painted...the choice is yours...on which way you go.
