Help fix it
Call the insurance commission in your state and see what the percentage of vehicle value is where they "total-out" your car. EXAMPLE: If your car is worth $10,000.00 and the insurance companies use a 75% of vehicle value as the total out value. Then if the repairs either come close to or exceed $7500.00. they will total out your car. Sometime calling a body shop in your area will also know this percentage (that is if they deal with insurance companies a lot).
I would not worry if your car will ever driving the same. With current repair equipment and a person who knows how to use it correctly. A damaged car can get put back to original measurements or within the +/- tolerances given by the factory.

Glare in the photo makes it hard to see if any damage is past the seam where the quarter ends.
Hard to tell if there is any severe damage to the rear bumper cover. it appears minor...but it could be distorted and buckled that the photo will not show.
Suspension does not appear (at least due to camera angle) to severe. Wheelbase will need to be checked...if it is off visually. cab be checked also during alignment.
Keep (us) informed on the process....because in my state....You would be able to get it fixed without any problems due to you being the "victim".
Check with your state insurance commission ( like earlier stated) because if you are planning on getting a rental car...IN MY STATE...the costs of the car rental have NOTHING to due with the costs of the cars repair. SO... basically...car rental can NOT be combined and cause your car to be "totaled out"...which I doubt would be the case because your
cars value is so high.

I personally feel that you need to search out a repair shop that is working for YOUR BEST INTEREST. I know that all repairs (regardless if it is a "preferred shop" or not) are covered under a warranty...and this also includes paint. And just because they are a "preferred shop" does not make them better than a shop that is not. All that means is that they met a specific criteria that is set by that insurance company to be placed on that list. SO...IF your insurance company states that a "better" guarantee is established IF you use a "preferred shop" ...is NOT CORRECT.
REMEMBER...DO NOT let anyone TELL YOU where to take your car. And when I have customers come by...I will gladly let them see the stages or processes going on in a repair so they can see that the prep and attention to detail are not being sacrificed for SPEED of a repair. This is so they can determine if they want me to repair their car or someone else. You might also want to make sure that you take time to stop by and see what is going on....that is if you are not quite sure if the shop you chose is DOING WHAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO!!!! I have stopped repairs so a customer can come by and see that repairs were made as stated.
