I prefer to use a glaze with a foam pad...and then apply a final glaze with my orbital. I do not like to use wax due to my paint work has not had enough time to allow it to be applied safely without possible problems.
I am a believer that applying a glaze to fortify the paint frequently is much better than sealing it in with a wax. Wax will lock in the glaze and seal it. I wan the paint to cure and have the ability to breathe. Wax does not allow this....in my opinion YES...it takes more effort...but like I tell my customers...you spent all this $$$$ on a paint job and now want to be lazy and fine a "quick out" from maintenance and care for the paint.
And keeping the car in a garage for two years is not the same as allowing it out in the environment and get hot in the sun...and then cool...and then hot...then cool, etc.
