Primer recommendation
I will be bead blasting some of the metal dash and cowl supports that live in the kick panel and under the dash area. They are only a few small pieces and dont want to set up the spray gun for such a small job.
What can type spray primer and top paint would be the best choice?

If the pieces are not visible, I've had really good luck with the rustoleum brush on metal primer and topcoat. I did my pedal box/column support (the heavy cast iron thing) almost 15 years ago. I just wire brushed the loose rust off and painted over the surface rust. There is still no sign of new rust and the piece looks like it was done yesterday.
For visible pieces the topcoat can be sanded and then sprayed with desired color. I did my trailing arms that way (satin black) and they ended up looking nice.
