Hood replacement
I am replacing my 1990 hood because my son decided to back his car into mine! My question is, will a 96 hood and headlight assembly fit my 90? Pretty sure it does but just making sure! Thanks

SO....the HOODS ARE NOT THE SAME....and it deals with the inner structure where it has different shapes to compensate for the engine accessories...such as air conditioning compressor which is on the right fora 1990 but on the left for a LT1 engine.
I KNOW FOR A FACT that hood for a Corvette with a TUNED PORT WILL NOT work on a Corvette with a LT1 ....FROM EXPERIENCE.....but I do not know it it works the pother way around....never tested it.
AS for the headlight being able to bolt in place. They should work due to both years have the same motors for the headlights....the two wire design.

Thanks for the information on the hood. I sent a message asking the dealer your question on the 96 to 90 replacement and I am still waiting for a response. I will try to update you when I get an answer.
1990 hood ...the car has a L98 Tuned Port engine.....the 1996 has EITHER a LT1 or LT4.
