Why is it I can easily buy PPG Deltron DBC base colors, epoxy primers and such online but it is damn near impossible to find their DT reducers anywhere online?

I have no idea why it would be so hard......I do not buy paint and have it shipped in. With you being in Charlotte....you can buy it locally and NOT need it shipped in.

Price driven question - I should have been more clear. I have a really good PPG distributor and even with his good discount, I can buy my DBC base online WAY cheaper per gallon. Less than half. I just can't find DT reducer online to go with the base. So I was wondering if anyone else noticed the scarcity of DT reducer online. It's almost like the jobbers are forbidden to sell online.

I have seen where people ordered their ppg deltron online for much cheaper only to find that it is really omni.

exactly. there is only so much an online store can discount. 50% is definitely going to be omni .

An on line store, and I only found one cross country, wanted more than my local shop for PPG DBC.

One experience with Omni and you can tell the difference. Raw Omni DBC is about half as pigmented as Deltron DBC. I paid just over $120 for a fresh gallon of RED Deltron (1970 Camaro Cardinal Red) a few months ago. Not a gallon kit - a gallon of unreduced DBC. Genuine stuff, made me soooooo happy.

Back to topic - does PPG somehow restrict their distributors from selling online (or try to)?
