Default SPI primer help

after mixing it real well and sprayed a wet coat i have spots. fisheyes, dyeback etc. i know it is primer and I will sand it but i need the final coat to be perfect. what did I do wrong or is my primer bad?

well, I shot another coat and it looks like it worked! I think I did something wrong mixing the first batch. so tomorrow I will scuff it and shoot 2 more coats.

I would be concerned about a contaminant on your body.

Another thought I have is that you have contaminants coming from your compressor. I had a similar issue. To remedy mine, I put 50"of copper pipe for cooling,two filters and a desiccant dryer between my compressor and hose. To check this, take your gun or a chip blower attachment on your hose and blow air onto a mirror. If you see "stuff" on the mirror, you have likely found your source.

a 3ft desicant snake is good insurance. they are good for a paint job. just cap it off after every use.

well I sanded the body (i am only working on one side for now) and shot another coat and it looks perfect!!!
