What is the best product to fill/repair swirl marks and white haze from black paint? Ive tried the Jet Black from Turtle Wax and still have swirl marks and the white haze. Not original paint so I'm not sure what it has. Thanks!
Not knowing how fresh the paint you are working on is and what type of paint it is....and not knowing if it has been clearcoated or any of that so you are leavign a lot of 'holes' that need to be filled in and answered.
AS for the swirls..that can all be corrected by using the correct products, pads and process in getting them out...and that also goes for the environment you are polishing the car in.
If you are trying to get a black finish PERFECTLY SWIRL FREE and glossy...you need to make sure that you shop is surgically clean and nothing is able to float around in the air and lay on the finish and scratch it whole you are doing this. So if you are doing this out in the drive way...or in your garage with the garage door open...it will never happen to the level of PURE PERFECTION.
Go back in the archives of this section on the forum because there are posts that deal with what some people use and how it worked for them.
I can tell you this ...when I do a black painted Corvette with clear on it and it has to be insanely slick and swirl free...I do it in my paint booth...with the lights off and a flood light in there with me so I can centralize the light and check for swirls. Just like how the car may look good out in the sun...but at nighttime and headlights of a car hit it...it looks like total crap.
From what I understand the paint is about 4 years old. Not looking for it be perfect since its not the greatest paint job to begin with. Its a good looking 10 footer but the swirls are kinda bad I feel. It has like a white haze but I guess most would call it faded paint. It still shines so that is the only way I can explain it. Never had much luck with the search here but will do one and see what I can find. Thanks
my guess is you have a paint job that was not finish buffed well. wool pad marks or dry padded. like dub i do all my buffing in the booth . at this point an orbital polisher would likley do it .

DO NOT use the search..just start going back from the current page that your thread is on until it stops and read the threads description and their are some that will apply to your scenario. 'porchdog' like using a specific product...because he has replied to many of these threads.
I do not know what you are using or doing..so it is hard for me to advise you on what you may be doing wrong or if the product you are using not be the correct one.

I've used this on many black cars. You'll love it!
