C5 Hood Install/Allignment Tips?
Hi,
I'm putting the stock hood back on my 2002 Z06.
The body shop painted and installed the aftermarket hood a couple of years ago.
I marked the stock hood around the brackets before the swap was done.
Is it difficult to do this?
I plan on replacing it by leaving the brackets bolted in the car.
I don't want to mess up the alignment.
I will have the help of two others.
Thanks for any tips or advice.

There are really no tips to adjusting a hood due to not knowing what is wrong with it.
You bolt it on and slowly lower it can start checking your body lines and then when they are good to go...you close the hood and check that the hood can open when the cable is pulled.
Not knowing if the previous body shop moved the hinges on the frame rails.
I can say that often times it only take very small amounts of movement to make a difference when adjusting the hood.
