C4 Door Jamb/Depth Question.

Probably a silly question but I can't figure it out.

1985 - How do you get the door to close deeper in the door jamb?

Normally, you would move the striker inwards. But the striker doesn't appear to move?

Any help appreciated!

I recently reinstalled the doors on my 86 after painting. The only adjustment is on the hinges. The striker does not move.

Correct. you cannot change the striker bolt location...so...the only thing you can do and it is generally something you do not want to do unless it is a new door is route out the holes for the latch itself on the door and move it...or modify the quarter panel or 'dog leg' panel.

All depends on how much yours is out of whack.

I can do that? It's not much.. Just a little bit and it would be perfect..

I may just open up that hole a little, bitty bit..
