New to the forum, I’m in Ontario Canada. Looking for plans for a wooden body cart for a C3, also I plan on lifting the body off with a 2 ton engine hoist with straps anybody with experience with that? Tnx

Scroll these links.

Remove the distributor for clearance issues.
Attach your rear straps by the #3 body bolt and attach the front straps just in front of the forward door seam. Keep the radiator bracket in place for stability, if it's removed run a strap back to the windshield frame just to keep the nose up.
Make sure all frame ground connections are removed there are 7 or 9 I believe. Make sure all frame to body connections are disconnected.
As you lift, do it slowly (you may here a pop which is just the body frame having been together so long, unless of course you forgot something) making sure it is completely balanced/level.
Over inflate the tires as the frame will roll easier.
Have the dolly inline and ready to roll under the body.
Take your time, think it through and all will go well.

If your going to use a portable engine hoist to lift the body , just make sure that whatever side you lift from ,you make sure the hoist legs can roll under that side of the dolly .
