Clear coat problem
I did my first ever paint job a couple weeks ago. I have been letting the clear harden.
Today I started wet sanding 1500, and I am finding numerous pits in the clear. I am confident they were not in the color, but who knows?
I have a pic of what is largest and deepest so far. I have only done a few panels.
Anyone know what happened, and best remedy. I have a lot of clear on the car. At least 3 thick coats.

Looks like a contaminant in your paint. Is your compressor spitting oil or water?

You have more panels to paint? I would sand the affected panels with 600 grit and re shoot the clear. Be careful not to sand thru the clearcoat. Good luck!
