chrome plating source
Can anyone please recommend a source for chrome plating based on personal experience?
I've checked most of the sources mentioned in prior similar posts and the common recommendations have 4 - 6 month lead times (and are rather expensive).
Maybe this is just the state of the industry but thought I'd ask in hopes of turning up a lesser know but great resource.
Also does anyone have experience having 1969 factory side exhaust covers chrome plated?

I just had Lbrandis in Harrisburg Pa. do the bumpers and stainless for a 64 coupe. They also supplied a front bumper core. Cost was $ 2970.00. Not cheap but they are beautiful. Dropped them off in the middle of August and got them back last week.

I used the below shop for my ‘66 bumpers. Triple chrome also known as show chrome for roughly $595 per bumper. EPA regulations have driven the cost up but all the top shops seem to be around the same price. Lead time was only 4 weeks. They do a lot of high profile customers, Jay Leno uses them and he has enough money to choose who ever me wants so…..
