No need to get fiesty he was just offering His thoughts
Just curious as to why you would want the 1.85 rr if you intend to install a new cam???? Most ppl. would only do it to improve lift on an existing cam.
Thanks for telling me what I need...... All I asked was what how much does it cost to install
OK idiot, he was pointing out the fact that you have no idea what you're talking about...you DONT need 1.88 rr if you're selecting a new camshaft, because you would just choose one that has the additional lift...Way to look like a complete dumb ***

I'm not sticking up for this guy, but don't these rockers provide good adjustability to prevent things such as lifters going wrong, or valve float (or something like that, can't remember exactly what my shop told me)

Not really. most of the after market(excluding one highend rr maker) are heavier than stock and that alone wil contribute to valve float. Some that are roller tipped have lost the needle bearings!!!!! I'll stick to stock unless you are anticipating a high rpm big dollar build up.IMO
Bigger rockers = half assing it, plus you can float a valve easier with most xe/xer cams. Someone selling you something will do exactly that.
Just spec out your cam correctly.
The stockers will be just fine.
