[Birthday Bash] Beech Bend today
Congrats Ron on the new best time. Beech Bend is a fun place to run especially with all the other vettes. We should get together in K'town sometime. Any local racing coming up with SMC?

No, it's hard to get many vettes out to do any racing. Bob and I were gonna go play today at 411 since we've never been there, but the weather closed them down.
Next up is the hi-speed autocross, then the autocross and drag racing back in Bowling Green for Memorial Day and the Cruise In.
Still holding off doing any engine work...it's getting hard though!

I was questioning about the C6 Z06 at the track. I just got this email from a friend of mine that was at beech bend.
By the way, as I was loading the car on the trailer, a black 2006 Z06 came to the drags. Keep in mind we were running all day into 15 to 20 MPH head winds, and the track was cold, so traction was poor at best, but the best time I saw for the Z06 was 12.13 sec. @ 124 MPH. My best today was 12.897 @ 111, and I know my car should have been running at least 0.3 seconds better. If I’m right, subtract 0.3 from the Z’s time and you have 11.8!!! Just my opinion.

Yeah the best mph I saw was 124. It is definately a mid to high 11's car
