Default [Birthday Bash] Beech Bend today

97 Coupe A4

R/T .018
60 1.743
330 4.990
1/8 7.722
MPH 90.18
1000 10.093
1/4 12.094
MPH 113.07

First drag of the season and this is my personal best. The vette went 11.958, but Bob Moss from Dragon's Breath Performance was driving it.

Lousy weather and 20 mph headwind.

Blackwing, polished throttlebody, throttle body bypass, LS6 intake, TPIS Headers, B&B PRT Exhaust

3.42 gears, Yank 3600, Transgo shift kit, M/T Streets

LS1-Edited by Bob Moss, all mods installed by Dragon's Breath Performance.

Bob drove it first and did 11.958!

Did you have a personalized tag? Were you running? You see the cars, and you see the people, but rarely do I get to put them together

Ah yes! I remember! What vette were you in today?

I was lucky, Liz couldn't make it this time, so I got to race! I was breaking in the new drag radials for her Mother's Day present

Yea those MT drag radials are supposed to be pretty good. I wasnt in a vette today I was in the suv, just went to watch everyone and some close friends ran their cars today. That was a good mothers day gift But from what I remember she runs that car great herself, she left me at the tree more than once

Well, if any of you saw the white bone stock c5 running over and over (31 times) it was me! My best for the day was 13.3@106. Not bad for crappy runflats! First time ever racing it too.

The NCM events at Beech Bend are great times to go and "practice". No pressure, crowds aren't too bad, all corvettes, and you get to run, well, 31 times! I think you broke Liz's record for number of times "aound the quarter mile track"!

Were you talking about the yellow one with the painted checkered flags on the side? If so, I had a guy tell me it was not a Z06. Had all the body parts, but still a LS2 under the hood. I would at least be "suspicious"...

Hey Bob
I am hoping it will be ready for the cruise in. I am waiting on the f1r from procharger, I upgraded to Andy from A&A corvette's kit. I did get some fairly good video from this event.
