1/8 mile time question

I just ran my 99 A4 tonight for the first time. It's bone stock except for the Z06 Cat Backs. Even has the stock air filter. Michelin Pilot Sport ZP tires with 30 psi. I only ran twice. The very first run I launched from a idle. The second run I stalled the converter, ( which caused me to spin too much). I wont do that again. 
What I was surprised at was that my MPH increased on the slower run. But it might have been because I might have let off the throttle before passing the finish. First time at the track, and I wasn't for sure where the finsh line was. 
The tech person said I really need some ET tires. Now after running, I would have to agree.
1st run..........(2nd run)
60' = 2.051 (2.188)
330 = 5.737 (5.976)
1/8 = 8.740 (9.015)
MPH = 82.35 (83.04)
Oh by the way! There was a Black C4 out that ran a 6.37 @ 111 mph. You could hear the F/I.
