You should have between 380-390 RWHP with all your mods.

You should pick up at least 25 rwhp.

When I had CAI and stingers, I added LGs and a tune and we had 375 RWHP 371 RWT.... and 11.82 @ 118
Thanks!

I'm going for the same headers with no cats, as well as an F11 cam. I'm hoping for 400whp.

I'd like to hear your feedback on how loud the thing gets with no cats. I have a Borla no-muffler right now. So if i bought the LG headers it would make a straight pipe, cause the LG x-pipe replaces where the stock resonators go..

Ls6 or LS1? LS6 IMO 400 would be easy, but I am not familiar with the specs on an F11... See sig block as with a small 224 227 cam I put down 397 with some 6 month old gas :o

The sound... well, LGs no cats and stingers where almost perfect. Good idle, great WOT and sounded tuned and refined. With a small cam, no cats and bullets, idle is great but WOT is insane! Too much for the street IMO and CATs are going on as soon as I get back. I have them at the house and they look very nice, and I will have to get some pics from under the car...

It's an LS6. The specs on the F11 are 228/230 576/591 112+4

The lg's with no cats are on the way which = straight pipe. oops

i have to stuff at least 4 resonators in there somewhere. I dont wanna run cats cause i figured they will rot out with the agressive cam and tuning by the time it's time for smog, and it wont pass with my camshaft anyways. I also own a shop so I can weld in some cats anytime i feel like it. Now to pick the right muffler/resonator setup.

Pics would be great...or even a video/sound clip

edit: I also ordered Hp tuners software to fiddle with..and the HID high beams are on their way too..

I CANT WAIT!!!

Depends what kind of dyno they have and what condition your engine is in. Measured wheel horsepower is totally irrelevant without a base measurement. A HP gain is a HP gain but the starting points are totally different depending upon if you run it on a inertia or eddy-current dyno, and which brand and who did the calibrations, along with weather (even if SAE corrected) and a load of other variables. Gains in quarter-mile or track times or drivability improvements are the only real way to measure performance.

I know this is true about different dynoes but SOOO many people hit just around the 400whp mark with cam and full exhaust. I'm probably gonna get a baseline run in sometime before i put the headers in though. Good point.

My friend owns a shop with a Dynapak. these are notorious for exaggerating the hp numbers cause there is no roller. You take your wheels off and basically bolt both sides of the dyno into your hubs.

Almost the same setup here on my 04 Z06.

Vararam, LG headers with cats, B&B Bullets, and I got 390rwhp/378rwtq.

Well, on my 02 LS1, with no mods but a Blackwing, I got 340 rwhp and 354 rwtq from LGs with cats. So your Z06 should be in the 390 rwhp range.

Well, I finally got it done. While at LG I added a 160 degree thermostat, changed my plugs, added a hurst shifter, lowered my rear some, underdrive pulley, and best of all added those LG headers without cats. My baseline hp was 357. Now im pushing right at 394.
The car runs great. And for the sound, its awesome.
.
BTW Thanks Lou for the great service. You run an excellent shop overthere. I hope to hear how you new Z06 project goes. Yeah, Lou was adding headers on his new 05 Z06. Car only had a hundred miles and what i saw on the dyno was sure impressive.

well I say for you 420 at least! Not a big cam by today's standards but a nice street cam which should give you tons of mid range plus open up the torq curve on the LTs. IMO that is what these headers do great is make torq below the peak. I say go with the offroad version, and add cats for inspection, thats what I did, and just swap them out. They are bad @ WOT and too much for the street IMO... the law watches us enough anways esp when we are NOT doing anythign wrong, but maybe that is more my luck as I look kinda youg (36 and get proofed for beer every time... :o )
Take care and keep us informed!

I figured they'd be too much for WOT, that's why i've been looking to replace the borla straight pipe with stock Z06 Ti exhaust. As far as the inspection goes..i've got a smog license. I'll figure it out.

I bet you get between 405 - 415. I have an 04 Z06 with LG Motorsports LT headders; underdrive pully; LGM G5X3 Cams; X- pipe w/ HF Cats and a Borla Stinger Exhaust (2 Tip) all fead via a Halletech Stinger intake... Sound familar? I have a few extra goodies too but they don't enhnce RWHP .

All the performance mods were installed at LG Motorsports and origionally dynoed at 439whp. I purchased this car from the origional owner, in Dallas. Once I got her home, to Chicago, I noticed that she really did not sound too good. So I had it retuned and re-dynoed prior to hitting the race track last Sunday. We reflashed the chip and made several passes on a Dyno Jet. Now I am at 430Whp. I am not too concerened about the difference as there are soooooo many factors that can add or subtract Hp during dyno runs. I wanted her tuned for trck days and my A/F ratios are much better. Furthermore, I plan to do somemore modifications this winter, so I will get her tuned again in the spring and I would like to see, maybe 450whp. I am more concerned about the safety and suspension upgrades... as this will become a pure track car during the winter.

Good Luck!

Yeah it was the original long tubes, not the new street version. Lou did use my car for the test installation and some pictures for the street version though. The street version does look nice, but not made as well as the original long tubes
