Went to the track Sunday due to some LS1 bashing by some Mustang guys. After i made my first pass the only ones wanting to play were the ones with heads, cam and NOS. Ran a 12.34@111 w/ 60ft 1.78. problem was I couldn't back it up, that bugs me. Every pass after was 12.5X with the same MPH and 60 ft, why? The only thing I can figure was that I just drove 40min at 70mph on the Highway before pulling in the track and that set the pcm up different. I have full bolt on's with a pt2400 stall and 3.73's. I have a Blackwing now but should have a Vararam really soon. The week before I was running 12.7X all day, we had some good air this week and made a big difference except I was going into a 15MPH head wind. Difference in DA was 2230
Best Vid for the day The other car is my freind Matt running a yank 4000 and a futral F13 cam w/2.73 gears Right Click & save
My experience at the track with my nearly stock 04 is that the first pass is your best and once the motor gets heat sink, the subsequent passes are slower.

When I've run 1-3 passes in succession, each ET was lower then the previous. These cars like some heat.
Heat soak will result after many hot laps...Not good for the trans & clutch either.

The car sat plenty before each round, maybe I let it get to cold. Plus the outside temp was 52, car was running around 180 across the board when I got their. Probably won't get another day with good air around here for while, so back to the high 12's low 13's
