I have ran consistent 13.5s at 109-110 with crappy 2.2-2.5 60's. My best so far is a 13.3 at 112 with a 2.5 60ft Stock other than Haltech Stinger and Nitto DR's. Before you guys jump me, I'm running at LACR which is 2700 ft altitude. Corrected it's a 12.9 at 115, which I think still sucks given the subject at hand. I'm sure as heck no pro driver and my 60 ft's prove that. Do you guys think It's possible to run an uncorrected 12? What should I run the Nittos at...I had them at 20 psi? Help a brother out. Thanks
You're missing some critical info here that people will need to help you out.
Are you M6 or A4?
How hard are you lauching/what rpm?
I used to run with Nitto DR's and I couldn't get them to hook for beans on several of the tracks in my area.
I had more than stock power, but not much more when I was cam only. I'm an M6 guy, and at 18-20 psi, if I launched at anything over 2800 rpm, those things went up in smoke even while slipping the clutch.
I've talked to many guys with stock power levels that are much happier with the BFG DR's over the Nittos.
Post in the Drag Racing section of the Forum, theres a lot of great guys over there, but give more details as mentioned above.

Reason: addition
It's an 03 Zo6 M6. I usually rev it to 2500 and slip the clutch out but no luck. If I rev it lower, I bog out of the hole. I have been hearing good things about the BF Goodrich...maybe those will be next in line after the Nitto's.
I think I saw some pic's of you running LACR yesterday on their Website and from what I saw, you where running the left lane. The prep in the left lane was awful. McRat made one pass in that lane and got sever wheel hop and we are running ET streets. But the right lane prep was much better I was cutting 1.61 60ft times.
Nitto’s are not very effective at LACR but I do know you have to heat them big time & Drop pressure to 15lbs. After you start seeing smoke you start counting 1 alligator, 2 alligator, etc until you get to 5 alligators.
Our best at LACR on ET streets stock was about 12.14 @ 111 or 112.
PS-You might want to check out lacr.net and click on reflections there is a cool shot of your car launching

That's about the same experience I've had with Nittos. Poor track prep can make things dramatically worse.
It may be overkill for your set up, but I finally went with Mickey Thompson ET radials (275 17") and I'm real happy with them. I've cut high 1.5's with them and RobZ got high 1.4's with them I believe when he drove my car.

If he wants good times at LACR that would be my suggestion also
I just bought the Nitto's so once they are gone I'll be getting something different. MT's only come in 17's right, so I'd need a pair of 17's for the rear. I would prefer something I can drive to the track with and have for daily use. Maybe the BF goodridges but will 315's fit on the stock rears without rubbing?
BTW...cool pictures, I had no idea they did that. I just ordered a couple of posters

The trick with the Nittos is to get them realy hot.I get my best times running them at 16psi and realy hot. I have run a several 1.6xx 60 ft times. My best is 1.66. I am using the 305/18/35 DR and they are on the car full time.I have 10k miles on them and it looks like I will get at least 12k out of them.

I think the trick with the Nittos is to throw those suckers out!
Kidding aside, I wonder if your better 60' times are because your car may squat more, pre-loading the rear = better traction. Do you have the base or Z51 in your '02?
No one I've talked to, that I race with, has gotten any good 60's out of Nittos DR's. I've got the Z06 suspension with Bilsteins installed and my car hardly squats at all on 5500 rpm launches. I've been wondering if that hurts my 60's. But when I switched to MT ET radials, my 60's dropped .3 seconds.
