Default How to figure torque?

I know that for rear wheel horsepower you add about 15% for the flywheel horsepower, but do you do the same for torque figure?
Example: 400hp at rear wheels= 460hp at flywheel. What would 400 torque on the dino equal, just 400?
Thanks for advice.

You can't add 15% to rwhp to get bhp. It's a mathematical law because you'd be adding 15% to a smaller number which yields a different # than subtracting 15% from a larger #

Ex:
460 bhp less 15% = 391 rwh
But 391rwh + 15% (58.6) = 449.6 bhp (Doesn't check out both ways)

Power is "lost" through the drivetrain, not gained from wheel to flywheel.

To get bhp from rwhp you could use 400 rwtq divided by .85 = 470
This checks out both ways. 470 rwtq X .85 (15%loss) = 399.5

Also note that as horsepower increases the formula is no longer applicable.
1000 bhp car is not going to lose 150 hp through the drivetrain.
