I went to Carolina Dragway last night for the test and tune. This track is known as the “house of hook” and is normally prepared very well, although last night, for some reason there was very little traction. I could only manage 1.42 and 1.44 60 ft times and 10.21 and 10.22 ET’s. However, I set a new personal best mph in the 1/8 of 106.80 and 135.01 in the 1/4.

That's the same 1/8th mile and 1/4 mile as me. Whats your set up and RWH?
My car is a 2000 A4 coupe with a pump gas N/A 427. It is driven weekly and drag raced occassionally.
Gratz on your new best Danny!
I called Nick at American Racing Headers and he is going to build me a set of headers like yours (LS7 heads), thanks for the info.

Danny,
Your times are fantastic. We will meet up at a track soon and you'll tell me your secrets.
It's a little cool for really good traction, but the MPH say the ET's will be there.

I'm glad your happy with the combo Danny, 135 is pretty stout for a hyd cam pump gas motor.
Thanks for the video Dwayne. I didn't know that your helper was filming that night. How did things go at Rockingham?

Carolina dragway is located in jackson south carolina
Thank! I found them on the web after I ask the question. It's about 130 miles from me, I'll probably try the street fights at Bristol once they get the launch pad repaired.

The Carolina Corvette Challenge has been held at Carolina Dragway for the past few years but this year the events are held at Darlington Dragway in Darlington, SC. In fact, there is a challenge this weekend. You should try to make it. BTW, I'm only about 1.5 hours from Bristol.
