Default Bolt-On Dyno Results

Just went to the dyno the other day. I don't have a scanner to post my graph but I left there with 398.6whp and 388.4wtq sae corrected on a dyno pack dyno meter. Mods are in sig but I have Vararam, Kooks 1/34, no cats and corsa car back. What do you think?

I would be trying my hardest to find that 1.4 HP to get to 400 even. Good #'s.

Default Nice Numbers

Those really are some impressive numbers. My car has the same mods (Vararam, Kooks off road setup, Corsa) but only showed 348 at the wheels, but it was through 4.10 gears. I know they effect the numbers on the dyno, but I didnt think it was that much. Congrats.

You are making over 400. You have no air flow for the Vararam to work and the dyno's are plus minus about 4HP anyway. But I can guarantee when your on the road your making over 4 to the wheels.

Default V-ram intakes

I have noticed a number of members are using the vortec v-ram or similar air induction system. As a note of caution if your air filter is cut into the radiator air dam, is in rain, you can hydraulic the motor. Simply stated, a local Chevrolet dealership sold a used tricked out Vette and the C-5 had the modified ram induction set-up, it rained, the Vette went through a mild puddle and the engine seized up tigher than my wife's wallet. New motor required, dealer could not repair.

I had this system on my 03 and coverted back, replacing the radiator factory duct work back to stock and then used the Donaldson Blackwing to achieve actually better results, the gauge tells you when to clean the filter. Maybe this might help someone in the future.

The air induction is through the z-06 front duct work as well.
