Default Perceived Trottle Pedal Pressure

I have an 03 coupe, the intake and exhaust are modified quite a bit, has the air fuel leaned 3%, fans set at 190 and 210, 170 thermostat, and the car runs exactly as desired.

However, maybe someone on the forum can answer this question: When I fill up the gas tank, I add Outlaw octane booster to every fill-up as California only has 91 octane and the LT series is designed to run on 93 octane or better.

With this in mind, why does the car perform better with a full tank of gas vs. 3/4 or less tank full, a noticeable drop in accelerator pedal pressure is noted unless on cruise control. I am sure it is part of the gas re-circulation system (smog crap) but would like to maintain that initial pedal pressure throughout the full tank, any ideas?

Corvettes do not have EGR systems, so that woudnt be the problem. As for having to use the 93 octane, if you have your car tuned by a good tuner on 91 you will notice zero performance loss (reletavily stock N/A vette), and you will be able to stop buying that octane booster to save some money(which doesnt exactly work that great anyways)

Have you taken into account outside temperatures? the only thing 3 things i ever notice that seem to slow me down are A/C, Passenger or if its really hot outside.
