I absolutely love it. The cam you are running is about the same as mine (slightly more lift and intake duration). Great running car on the street and turns in great track times, nice combination
Thanks, I spent a lot of time learning before I picked the cam.My first priority was a smooth idle (this is my dd and my wife is in the car a lot with me) and I couldn't ask for a better idle. My wife has never mentioned the idle,so that tells you how good it is.The power is excellent all the way to my shift points(6500/6600 rpm). I can lock my TC at 32mph in OD and there is no surging/bucking. Every thing is a compromise and I chose the higher lift over more duration. Because of the lift I plan on checking/replaceing springs every two years. I am running 11.2 CR and this setup has actualy improved my fuel econmy and gives me some great mid range torque.

Great setup and et your running there. I decided to go with Paxton setup. Just waiting on Phil to finish his present project to start on mine. When I get it finished, I'll come and join you up at Ubly. I just have to figure out what tires to go with.
I drove Yankee's car the other night and it is absolute dynamite. Quiet and smooth idle, just like he said, but also kicks some serious hiney. I have been going back and forth between the ECS Paxton and N/A so when you get yours done, if I could get a ride for comparison purposes, that would be great. What other mods do you have or are you bone stock? Thanks
Went back to the track today.I couldn't wait for the 305 ET STREET RADIAL so I bought some 275/40/17s
WOW! They hook much better.I don't think they are preping the track this year because everyone is complaining about lack of traction.
First Run : 11.83 /118.96 1.75 60 ft.
Next two runs went up in smoke as I got use the new tires.
The next four runs:
11.75/118.93 1.66
11.74/119.03 1.68
11.72/119.15 1.68
11.76/119.08 1.74
My tuner was at the track and we tweeked the shift points/ S/A between runs. (THANKS PHIL )On the last run I went WOT immediately and the tires broke loose a little. On the other three runs I drove off the line with a soft pedal and this seemed to work best. The tires are a lot better than the Nittos. I am sure I can squeek out another tenth with practice.
Nice times. We have similar setups. I run 11.7-8 at 116 in the Texas heat on a 1.81 60. I pulled a 1.67 and ran a 11.5 at 119 in Hallsville on a cool day. The 3.73 really hit hard off the line.
Congrats and I cant wait for MT 305 18" drag radials/

Yesterday I added 160 lbs of weight to the trunk and went back to the track. I ran a best of 11.96 @ 118.61. Still could not go WOT until well past the 60 ft mark.
I am waiting for the new MT street radials (305/35/18) to be released(mid June) and hoping for mid 11s with them.

If you have 18" rims that are 10.5" wide use the 295/35-18 BFG drag radials. If you have the stock 18" x 9.5 rims use the 275/35-18 BFG drag radials. I have gotten 1.60 - 60' times on both and 11.5's with no problems.
