Default Please check my dyno numbers

2001 Coupe w/ A4 tranny, 26,000 miles:

Mods are as follows:

- 3.73 rear gears
- Yank SS3200 Stall
- Dynatech Lt headers w/ high flow cats

- G5X3 cam
- AFR 205 heads
- ASP Underdrive pulley
- Shaner ported throttle body
- Vararam
- Caddy Racing lifters
- Melling Oil Pump (I learned to use the BLUE spring! - trial and error!!)

Final dyno numbers were 399.8 RWHP and 371.5 Torque

FactoryRaceCar is going to try and post my dyno sheet and I'll provide a link when he does

How do my final 399.8 RWHP and 371.5 Torque numbers sound? - good for my mods, low, high, just right, etc . . .

I posted in C5 General, and I sorta got a feeling that my car isn't producing the power that it should - your thoughts please

If it was on a mustang dyno, the numbers will be lower. If it was on a dynojet with those mods, I would definitely think around 430, give or take a little.

your numbers are low by about 30-40hp. my dads 04 auto is making 410rwhp and 403tq. he only has the patriot heads and a much smaller cam than yours as well.

Your Dyno numbers are about right for an A4 with your TC and gear set up. Don't get hung up on numbers! How does your car perform? If you can drive your car I'll bet that thing fly's!!! I've got about the same set up and have driven many low 11 second cars and although I have yet to take mine to the strip , it WILL run low 11's with street tires. BTW if your car was a Six speed it would have done over 430rwhp on the dyno

The car performs like a RAPED APE - the "problem" so to speak is the driver:o(me) - I have to learn how to drive it for the way it is set up, not the way I have been in order to use the power it has - but, having figured this out is the first step in the right direction, and I'm eager to learn

My car IS a daily driver and I have never taken it to the strip (or driven a car on a strip for that matter) - I might????? just so see if I'm any good at launches, lights, etc, but it definately passes things on the highway like they are standing still - and THAT is a constant fun compared to occassional weekend drag racing

LG has a lot of dyno's on their web site, can you find any similar to yours for comparison? Gears will make a little difference, the TC will too and that may be part of the issue. There are some converters that are known for dynoing lower, but I don't know the details. Maybe you should look at some other Yank converter curves and see if there is a trend.
